Area Sales Manager Polymers

Main tasks:

Regular customer visits and sales of our product range as well as the acquisition and fulfilment of sales-oriented tasks through regular telephone customer contacts

Responsibility for sales, turnover and contribution margin

Active sales acquisition and identification of sales possibilities and projects / opportunities

Submitting offers and negotiating prices with the customer on site

Solution- and « uncompromising » customer-orientated handling of any problem cases

Further tasks:

Obtaining market information and determining and monitoring the competitive situation

Representation and presentation of all the company’s services

Implementing regional and national sales and marketing strategies in the district and supporting sales and marketing concepts

Organizing business-promoting campaigns in the district on your own initiative

Profil

Experience and expertise

Technical or commercial studies or corresponding training with initial sales success in the plastics industry.

(Very) good technical understanding of all polymer types and their application.

Business fluent in French and English.

Ability to assert company interests with the customer while maintaining customer satisfaction.

High degree of independence and self-motivation.

Very strong communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
