We are seeking part-time instructors to join our team at LANGO.
Candidates Will May Be Responsible For:
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that facilitate active learning.
- Developing course outlines, lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to create a healthy learning environment.
- Delivering instruction to maximize student development, employing a variety of teaching and development strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- Conducting assessments of student learning styles and using results to plan instructional activities.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance and providing prompt feedback, recording grades, and attendance within established deadlines.
- Demonstrating a thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline.
- Learning, using, and recommending educational technologies and resources to enhance learning experiences for students.

Profil
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in English Studies or a teaching degree from a preferred educational institution.
- Certificate, Diploma (e.g. Post-secondary Education, Adult Education, or Vocational Education). e.g., CELTA, Delta, TESL, TESOL is a plus.
- 2+ years of teaching experience in an educational institution.
- Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
Other Qualifications:
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom learning environment and contributing to a positive professional school climate and culture.
- Modify instruction and provide additional support, as needed, to optimize the learning and growth of all students.
- Digital literacy and demonstrated fluency in technology systems, and an ability to model and facilitate the use of current and emerging digital tools to support research and learning.
